Article I: Name of the Organization

The organization shall be known as “Acts of Love and Kindness Foundation,” referred to as “the Foundation,” located at Cascade Valley Rd., Cascade, P.O.S.

Article II: Mission Statement

Acts of Love and Kindness Foundation aims to spread compassion, goodwill, and support to those in need through various acts of kindness. This includes providing food and clothing to the homeless and offering life coaching services.

ARTICLE III: OBJECTIVES

To provide essential resources compassionately and dignifiedly such as food and clothing to homeless individuals.

To offer life coaching services, providing guidance and support for personal development.

To organize and participate in initiatives promoting kindness, empathy, and community welfare.

 

Article IV: Membership

Membership is open to individuals committed to the organization’s mission.
Members must actively participate in and support the Foundation’s activities.
Termination of membership may occur through resignation or failure to adhere to the organization’s principles.

Article V: Leadership and Governance

Acts of Love and Kindness Foundation shall be governed by a Board of Directors elected by its members. The Board of Directors shall oversee the Foundation’s activities, ensure adherence to its mission, and make strategic decisions. Leadership positions, including President (Abena Williams), Vice President (Antonio Green), and Secretary (Mikhail Foster), shall be elected by the Board of Directors.

Term Limits

Officers shall serve a term of three years.
No officer may serve more than three consecutive terms in the same position.

Removal And Replacement

Officers may be removed from their positions if a two-thirds majority of the Board of Directors votes in favor of removal.
Reasons for removal may include but are not limited to neglect of duties, unethical behavior, or failure to uphold the organization’s principles.
In the event of removal or resignation, the Board of Directors will initiate an election to replace the vacant position.

Article VI: Meetings

Regular meetings will discuss ongoing initiatives, plan future activities, and assess progress. The Board will convene meetings as needed to address specific governance matters.

Article VII: Dissolution

In case of dissolution, remaining assets, after liabilities are settled, shall be distributed for charitable purposes as determined by the Board of Directors.
